AC leaking water
Water dripping from the indoor unit or the pipes.
Indoor unit ke pipe mathi pani tapke chhe.
Why this happens
- Blocked drain pipe so the condensation overflows
- Dirty air filter freezing the coil, then dripping when it melts
- Indoor unit not tilted correctly toward the drain side
- Low gas causing ice that later melts
Safe checks you can try
- Switch off the AC so no more water drips onto anything electrical
- Check the drain pipe outlet for a block or a kink and clear it gently
- Clean the air filters
- If the unit is not slightly tilted toward the drain side, an installer needs to reset it
Water leaking inside the room is almost always a drain block. It is an easy fix, but do not run the AC while it drips near the switchboard.
